Back on the tour, we drove to whakapapa ('wh' is 'f' remember?) national park. We went via a couple of cute little waterfalls and lakes. This part of the trip is turning into a 'walking in the rain' themed section! I'm so glad that I bought the waterproofs when I did. I was thinking about attempting the Tongariro crossing, but the weather is so bad that it'd be impossible and impassable.
